This is where you will find the answers to the most common questions that we get as well as some questions we oftern ask our clients. Please note these Q&A,s are guidelines and does not replace a proper agreement

HOW CAN I  BOOK YOU FOR A GIG?

WHAT DO YOU CHARGE?

As you might understand this is difficult to say since a lot of thing as distance to the venue, the length of the performance, what gear we need to bring or rent and if we need to stay over night affects the pricing. However, for a standard gig the price can start at 14 000 SEK. Allways contact us for exact pricing.

DO I NEED TO HIRE YOU AS AN EMPLOYER?

No, We or our booking agent will invoice you to ,ake it simple for you.

WHEN ARE YOUR FEE DUE FOR PAYMENT

We need to receive payment in full prior to the start of the performance unless otherwise agreed.

CAN WE MAKE A WRITTEN AGREEMENT?

Yes, we have a standard agreement template, something which is very useful and safe for both parties.

WHAT KIND OF EVENTS ARE YOU SUITABLE FOR?

No Hablas are very suitable for för cityfestivals, larger Pubs, Nightclubs, Corporate events and large parties of any kind.

We are no silent trubadours and absolutely not your contemporary dance orchestra, however people are regularely seen dancing their socks of during our gigs.

No Hablas is the band you hire when you want a fantastic event, when you want the guest to leave exited, exhausted and happy. For the smaller event we recomend a Rock Duo, something we of course might be able to help you with as well.

WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?

We are based in Northern Sweden as well as Stockholm, or base for travelling by car with our own gear is Kalix, which of course is irrerelevant if we wtravel by other means.

HOW MANY ARE YOU ON STAGE?

We are a four piece band, including Guitar, Bass, Keyboard, Drums and Vocals.

CAN YOU SEND A SPECIFIC SETLIST?

No. the list on the "songs" section are examples of what we will perform during the evening. We use our experience to mix and match songs and we know your event will be a success if you just relax and enjoy the stream of Hits we serve. We can however create a set with emphasis towards certain genres as for instance hard rock, pop, the sixties or schlagers if that is required..

CAN I MAKE A WISH FOR PARTICULAR SONGS?

You can allways wish, if you make a request for one or a few songs in good time, then we will try to make that happen if possible.

DO YOU WANT SOME FOOD?

Yes please, and a few bottles or cans of mixed beverages. We have no particular demands, whatever your guests are having is certainly good enough for.  Our workday tends to get very long so a nice meal in the evening is highly appreciated. If however we need to arrive very early, or if we stay for more than one nigh, then we would expect the usual meals to be included as well.

WILL YOU BE EATING WITH THE GUESTS?

No, this is not common, we prefer to have a separate room for the evening where we can eat, relax and store our personal belongings. This room should have access to a bathroom with Mirror and perferrably a shower.

WHY DO WE NEED TO AGREE A FINISHING TIME?

Simply because we need to know when we can have some sleep, although we apreciate your event might continue around the clock we need to agree on a time were we finish, usually not later than 02:00 in the morning. 

WHAT IS INCLUDED WHEN WE MAKE A BOOKING?

This is of course based on what you wish for and our means of travel as welll as the size of the venue. For gigs we reach by car and trailer we normally include the travel cost, a professional sound system as well as professional lighting which will also work for a normally sized dancefloor. For your convenience we are also bringing a Laptop full of music for the breaks.  

HOW LARGE IS YOUR SOUNDSYSTEM?

The PA system is expandable and will in its biggest version be enough for a crowd of up to about 1000 people. If needed we can of course organize larger soundsystems and stage or whatever is needed.

CAN WE USE YOUR SOUND SOUND SYSTEM?

A microphone can be used for speaches if needed, our Laptop can be used for your own CD or MP3 music. An additional artist such as for instance a Comedian or a Disc-Jockey can connect to our system. However please note that if we have agreed a stop time and you wish the party to continue, you may want to have another sound system available since we expect to be able to pack our equipment before the last guest leaves the building.

WHAT IS THE REQUIRED STAGE SIZE?

6 x 4 meters are preferred, if possible with a drum riser. However we know by experience thhis is not possible at many venues, so we have learnt to adopt to the circumstances. Please take this measurement as a guideline and note we will consume a considerable amount of floor/stage space.

HOW MUCH POWER DO YOU NEED?

For any gig where we bring our own Sound and Lighting system it is absolutely required with a 3-phase 16A or 32A power outlet present within 20 meters from the stage area.  This is what the wall placed outlet looks like:

DO YOU NEED TO SPEND THE NIGHT?

This depends on the location of the event and if we are playing nearby the following day. If we are arriving by car and have more than one hours return drive we expect accomodation. If this is difficult for you to organize we are happy to include this cost in our offer.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I NEED TO CANCEL THE BOOKING?

A cancellation needs to take place more than 3 weeks prior to the event, if the cancellation takes place later we will of course first of all discuss possible solutions or rearrangements with you, however after this point we will invoice you for incurred costs. Incase a cancellation takes place later than seven days prior to the event we will invoice you the full amount if we are unable to reschedule.

WHAT IS THE DURATION OF YOUR PERFORMANCE?

We are quite flexible when it comes to the length of the gig, normal for the business is to perform 3x45 minutes during an evening, however we might also perform 2 longer sets.
Please note however that if our performance gets delayed due to reasons beyond our control we still expect  our agreed stop time to be valid.
